So I took my Chrysler with a 62te transmission into Aamco in Cary as it was stuck in limp mode. Within 30 min of it being dropped off they called me and said the transmission was completely shot and destroyed and needed to be completely rebuilt for around 3k. The way he described the issue to a layman sounded official and he almost got away with it. But the way he described the issue made little sense to the technically inclined so I trusted my gut and had it towed to Milex Mr Transmission in Cary. Within 2 hours of it being at Milex they called me and said my transmission fluid was just low and they reflashed my transmission to pull it out of limp mode and the vehicle was as good as new. They towed it, refilled it, and fixed it for 300$. I then took it same day after less than 4 hours at Milex and drove it almost 200 miles with no issue. I would like to thank the team over here at Milex and recommend them to anyone looking for a competent, honest, and professional team to work on their vehicles. They have earned a long term customer.
